PRINTING PLATES FREE OF CHARGE

A printing plate is a type of printing form in polygraphy. For use, it is etched chemically or electrolytically, or engraved. Laser is also being used lately (especially for the production of rubber stamp plates). After applying colour, it is then used for printing by pressing on the respective medium.

PRINTING PLATES FREE OF CHARGE

These plates need to be made according to graphic design with every order, one plate for each colour. We do not charge you for the costs of production of the plates. These costs depend on the length of the plate or the motif, the basic length being the following 150, 188, 250 or 313 mm. For a surcharge, it is also possible to choose a motive of 450 mm length.

In order to enable printing without interruption (gap), there are also plates, which we call Sleeve. Compared to a classic plate, which is wrapped around the printing cylinder, this is a complete sleeve, which is slid onto the cylinder and it thus has not white interruption in the place, where the classic plate ends and begins.
